Shonda boasts an extensive professional background of 10+ years, having obtained licenses in cosmetology, certification as a wax specialist, and has gained expertise in micro-shading techniques. Her career began in 2013 at a chain franchise where she honed in on her skills and was able to train those that came after.  After 6 years, Shonda decided it was time to spread her wings and thus The Wax Assassins was founded. Through the growth of operating and business through COVID and being a mother of 3, she has been able to give her clients a one of a kind experience. Shonda believes that she's not just providing you a service, she's building a relationship. Shonda is also an advocate for mental health and wellness. Giving her clients the freedom to be themselves and allow venting, laughing, or silence serves a great purpose.
